Students can take up the entrance test for all 3 streams once.

General Instructions:

• 1. Periyar Maniammai Scholarship cum Entrance Examination will be conducted through online mode.
• 2. Examinations can be taken on devices such as Laptop/ Smartphone/ Tablet/Desktop
• 3. Ensure charging the Laptop / Smart Phone / Tablet well in advance to last for at least 1 hour and 30 minutes.
• 4. Ensure your device having continuous internet connectivity.
• 5. Total duration of the examination is 60 minutes.
• 6. The countdown timer will be displayed in the top left corner of your screen and the remaining time available will help you to complete the Examination.

All questions will be of MCQ type. Each question carries equal marks.

• For Engineering Programme candidates have to answer 45 questions in 60minutes in the following subjects

• 7. The Entrance Test will be in English and in Tamil. Candidates can choose any one of the languages
• 8. Help Desk will be active for clarifying doubts for Candidates while logging in and during the time of the entrance test. If a Candidate encounters any technical issue, he/she can contact the help desk in the given contact numbers +91 9944 495715, 9003976732, 9790073217.
• 9. Once a user logs into the system with Username and Password, it will direct to the page where the Scholarship Examination details are given.
• 10. Keep some blank papers, pencils, pen on the table for rough work. Calculators/ tables are not permitted.
• 11. Candidates are not allowed to refer to any textbook(s) or any other electronic gadgets while taking the Scholarship Examination.
• 12. Candidates are not allowed to consult other people for any information after the commencement of the Scholarship Examination.
• 13. Candidates are NOT allowed to take photos, take screen shots, hear audio or record videos of the examination and then share it with others during the online examination.
• 14. Ranking list will be uploaded in the website portal: www.pmu.edu
• 15. Admission process is based on your +2 Mark statement, however to avail PMIST scholarship the rank list will be based on your Scholarship cum Entrance Examination score.
